A visit to Keelung isn't complete until you've strolled through the Miakou Night Market, and it doesn't have to be at night. We were there on a Monday afternoon and after looking at most of the food stalls, we settled in for a bowl of rice (shared) and a bowl of crab soup (each). It did help that a visiting... More

Little restaurant inside the night market called 松山活海鮮(don't think it has an English name) Anthony Bourdain ate and filmed an episode of his show there. Their seafood was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Items recommended are calamari cooked with basil, seafood chowmein, pineapple prawns, and these horizontal clams cooked in spices. Very delicious. We ordered eight dishes for seven... More

Many choices for you to walk along for tasting, cheap price but the food is fresh especially the fish soup, pork knuckle etc.

So many great foods, a lot of stuff I didn't want to try, but there was such a big range it wasn't hard to find something I did want to. Not much else other than food. The other stalls are a bit disappointing

Place abounds with food stalls. You would need to queue for the food. Be prepared that what is offered to you may not be the same as what you get. The crabs we were offered was not the same size as what was served.

This night market is a little drive out of the city, so I recommend finishing a day trip out to Jiufen/Shifen with this night market. It's much cleaner and more spacious than other night markets around the city. There are more local dishes (try the dumpling wrapper soup!) and proper seating area for each stall for you to enjoy your... More

Tourist place though a bit small. Food in average is good. Probably the only place to go in downtown keelung. Nice to visit once for a while

Been there last month. As usual the night market was filled with people. We noted seafood soups stall at the entrance were busy with customers and ordered a few bowls, eaten with oily rice . Not quite my taste nevertheless it's one of their specialities. Other include "dry dumplings" and is usually 10 pieces in a plate. Many stores selling... More

We went there for one and only on reason only... to eat! Not disappointed. Try everything, just point at the pictures if you can't say what you want. I think we ordered fish testicles unknowingly hehehe.

It mainly have stalls which you can sit by the sides to have mee sua, mee fen (vermicelli), noodles, rice, soup...etc. A not so... More
