The beach is heaven and accessibility is good. not to crowded as that of bora or galera. security wise, there are policemen patrolling the shores.

I was in Glan last Decemeber 2014 and I was so grateful to be with the locals of Glan. The Poblacion is surrounded by old-aged ancestral houses, the evidence of their early civilization. Fishing is one of their main source of income aside from coconut products. There are also some parts of Glan inhabited by Indonesians. Visit Glan!

Isla Jardin is far better off than Boracay. White Sand fineier and whiteier, beach water-clearer. Helpful and friendly people, affordable food, SUPERB SEAFOOD

Visited at the onset of Mahin Festival - a good thing since the beach was not that crowded yet. There was a sand sculpture contest so we enjoyed taking pictures of the entries before the crowds descended on them. There were also a lot of native arts and crafts to buy and take home to give away to friends and... More

This was my first time in Gen San and we traveled to Sarangani to get to the Beach Resort for the Gen San Christmas Celebration. The Provincial Capitol was immaculate in white and the Sarangani Hospital, which locals said Boxing Champ Manny Pacquiao built, stood near it, almost finished.

Went to experience what they called" Boracay of the South". Though the beaches were not as fully-developed as Boracay, but the area itself is good enough. The sand is not as powdery-white as Boracay. From General Santos city, it will take almost 2hours to reach beaches in Saranggani... Interior roads going to beaches are bumpy. Need to hire a trike... More
