A great location and very beautiful. Pity the bride has been damaged by a Typhoon. There are something like 162 steps to the bottom of the gorge for anyone fit and agile. Worth a visit - even if just for photo's.

Macahambus used to be one of the strategic sites of the Kagay-anons during Japanese occupation to the province. Macahambus has gorge and a cave that sheltered the soldiers against the enemies..

I agree when most people say that CDO is an adventure destination! Best to visit it during summer season in the Philippines, and to reserve half a day to day just enjoying the cave, the rock facade, and the forest area!

Went to visit in June 2013 but it is now closed. Had also gone to Jatico Adventures after finding this closed which is close by but everyone was at lunch for over an hour and had to be somewhere else later in the day.
