A few Km's outside of bustling Quetta the famous Hanna Lake is located. For Quetta this is an excellent getaway. Walk around the lake, bring some bread and dal and picnic on its shores. There are a few restaurants as well. I loved the scenery!

Hanna lake provides an oppurtunity to leave the daily stress and tensions behind and have a relaxing time. Its suggested to visit the lake during the weekend or during good weather. Enjoy a wonderful picnic with either friends or family and go for boating to seal the deal.

I was surprised as at entrance there was a BiG Sign Board mentioning therein that lake is very deep and Instructions what precautions are to be taken. But the lake was not having water all send was coming in eyes. One local informed that these days due to less or no rains it's drought conditions but surroundings was lovely those... More

the sole place of recreation and entertainment for the fun missing Quetta dwellers. One find itself in a polluted, dusty place where no reasonable area to sit and enjoy

Quetta is a small town not with much places for out door activities. Hanna Lake is one of the best place one can go with family and friends . It's about 7 km form downtown city and under army control . Surrounded by the mountains.

Hanna lake just a 30 minutes drive from the city, is no doubt the most favorite place for the residents and visitors of Quetta in all the seasons. It looks very beautiful in winter especially after the snowfall and is one of the most ideal places in summer because it is a cool place as compared to the city.

We went to hanna lake in the first week of March '16 . It was a rainy day the trip was very interesting. We booked the army rest house .. those rest houses so beautiful are well furnished and nicely maintained both inside and outside. The path and shades were beautifully done. The almond trees on the way were looking... More
