This is one of the very interesting temples. I want to know the detail history of this temple. We didn't go there with a tourist guide which we should have. Depicting scenes of each art and architecture must be really astonishing. I really want to...More

This is an impressive temple, well conserved and nice to visit. The only sad note is the massive amount of hawkers / sellers / stalls at the long entrances...

I have seen many temples in my life but this was one of the best ones. The mix of Indian architecture and Burmese brings out the uniqueness. There are also 2 standing buddhas inside. Must see in Bagan

An ancient temple worth visiting in this city of Bagan... timeless architectural beauty. Very sacred that you have to remove footwear from the entrance all the way inside the temple.

Such an awesome well preserved Temple so many beautiful things to look at. One of my favourites in Bagan. Well worth the visit. The outside is large and well constructed but the inside holds over 350 housed things to see.

A must visit when in Bagan! Such a beautiful, gorgeous pagoda! It is the most beautiful temple in Myanmar with an Indian architectural influence. Be sure to take a pix with the arch to create a beautiful artistic photo. See pix posted.

Beautifully preserved/restored temple with incredible craftsmanship of statues on roofline and interior. The 4 standing Buddha’s are especially interesting. According to my guide, 2 are original from 11th century. You can tell these because from a distance, the face of the Buddha is smiling. As...More

With its gold top and white walls, this is really a stunning temple. We were there during the rainy season but Bagan is drier than other parts of Myanmar so it was a great time to visit (smaller crowds).

As you follow the google maps (key word: Ananda) to the nearby area, look around and you will find a red-gold-ish temple tower from far away (that was how I found it and told my friends when all of them were busy looking... More
