Trip up the Mahakam river, entering Dayak villages and visiting longhouses. Overnight stay at family home in Muara Muntai and in a floating house on the lake Malintang. All organised by tour guide Dennis (check DeDe Guesthouse Samarinda)

We paid IDR 13.8 million for everything. We tipped to crew, the cook, and the guide generously. Earlier we had tipped the canoe boatman, and also made a donation at the Dayak village.
