We visited the complex mainly because of the postbox tree and were surprised by the nice and interesting shell musuem. A visit on the ship finalised our visit. Highly recommended for rainy days.

The Museum was very centrally located well laid out and very interesting. Easy walking distance from the downtown area. Very informative and worth the visit

Well maintained and clean.The actual ship is great to visit and walk around on and imagine crossing the ocean on. The garden was well maintained too and lovely to just relax in.

We arrived to visit the museum and found that it was a birthday party! There was a lot of local people as well as the province culture Minister. The caravel is superb and worth the visit.

Detoured specifically to see this museum. Great display of the Dias boat that rounded the Cape first and information around sea exploration through history.
