Unfortunately the hikes available in Camdeboo Nationalpark were either 6 hours or 45 minutes. 6 hours means you cannot avoid the heat of the noon, no matter when you get started. Since we could not take 45 minutes serious and we were quite keen on...More

The Valley of Desolation is close by along the main road. There is no direct access between the two places, you have to leave one and go to the other, but it is worth it.
