If you want magic, then take a boat an enjoy a magnificent afternoon to this overwhelming River watching an African sunset that will take your breath away. Bonus, you will have the opportunity to observe the life of the peasants living on the shores.

I can recommend the river full heartedly it's a wildlife gem. I must say it's the most relaxing way of travel I had in my life with mokoros .

Our guides took us on a canoe trip through the delta where we saw many birds, hippos and elephants. It was so serene and peaceful. Sunsets were amazingly beautiful.

One of the nature wonders. Untouched by human. You can visit and explore in many ways. From the air, boat or simply walk. we have spent three days along okavango river... we have seen it from the sky (by plane), on the boat, on the mokoro... it's fantastic!

We were on and next to the Okavango river for 5 days. (2days at Shakawe region in Botswana and 3days near Divundu in the Namibian Caprivi region) We went on 2 boat cruises and also went on a few safari trips next to the river. Saw the greatest sun rises and sunsets. The river is full of hippos and Crocodiles... More

My wife and I went on the 6 day tented camp safari, a good mixture of walking and boating all birds and animals were identified along with tracks where needed comfortable tents with shower tents and toilets meals were all high standard with fresh baked bresd daily unforgettable trip Jim Sellers
