Not much you can say - it's the Okavango and you should try to get there if you can. Chief's Island is the main landmass in the middle of the delta, and we camped one night there

The Xugana Lodge in the Okivanga Delta in Botswana is spectacular! We saw more animals here than on our land safari. The staff is outstanding as is the food. Our guide Allen is unparalleled.

It was like being in a national geographic program. You name it, we saw it! Up close and personal. We even saw a croc eat another croc! Unbelievable. The animals here are thick and easy to find in the spring for sure.

Yes it is high risk area for Malaria. But it is ok if you cover your body well and apply mosquito repellent. The facilities in Okavango are very good.
