After docking by tender from our Cruise Boat we walked the approx. 20mins to the Notre Dame de Lourdes. As we are both in our 60s we took our time and enjoyed the many beautiful coloured butterflies floating around the undergrowth. A bit steep on...More

Definitely worth a visit for the views alone. The views are amazing and definitely worth the climb. Not for those with walking difficulties. Strange place for a church on headland

It is well worth the climb to get a great view of the bay and Lifou. It is quite a steep climb. The church itself is quite minimalist.

The view from this church over the island was fantastic the many steps we’re difficult but the view was worth the effort.

Arrived in Lifou on P&O cruise. Took tender boat to the Island. Weather was beautiful. Local people are lovely and welcome. They all set up little stalls offering food, massage and hair binding. Took a short hiking from the jetty to the church on top...More
