This place is just magical, walking up an active volcano and meeting the locals (spending a day with a native tribe) was an amazing experience and one I will never forget.

Hi, I'm travelling to Vanuatu, mainly to do a night tour of the volcano but timing seems to be an issue booking with Air Taxi/Unity Airlines, as it's a Sunday or Monday night and they don't have anyone else requesting those days. Are there plenty of local tours once you arrive on Tanna? I am travelling alone and have seen that there are a mimumum of two required for tours. TIA

It's a long drive up the volcano and a very remote island. Minimum 2 people per trip up is due to cost.
We are going to Mt Yasur in a couple of days with my son and his wife and two small children. My son is very worried about the shooting lava coming up and landing near to the kids and burning them. Is that a real risk?

It's possible but not likely at all. The wind is taking the lava in a certain direction. It is an amazing experience and one that is worth the risk.
Hi , I'm coming to hopefully see the amazing volcanos next March . Just wondering what the cost will be in Australian dollars to do a tour . Thankyou
