There are two options. With the easiest, the guides hoist you up by pulleys. The alternate way does not require arm strength. It uses leg power to get you up the rope. It can take awhile, but the guides are patient and there is no rush. I was unsure that I could do it that far, but I made it to the top and loved it. (57 years old in moderate physical shape.)
