We were a group of 7 friends that did a 5 days / 4 nights itinerary with Elvis. Our expectations were completely blown away and could not have had a better experience. Elvis did a fantastic job arranging a plan that had a combination of rigorous hiking and camping in the jungle, and more relaxed activities and overnight stays in an amazing ecolodge and a treehouse once the group had a bit of fatigue after the more intense first half of the trip.
The entire itinerary was extremely well coordinated and planned (you can tell that Elvis has a great crew helping him behind the scenes) so that when we would arrive at our destinations, meals were already prepared, transportation was already waiting for us, sleeping arrangements were ready, etc. And although the coordination was perfect, Elvis was always very accommodating if we wanted to make tweaks to our plans depending on how the group felt and the activities we were in the mood for.
Incredible attention to detail throughout the trip – even when sleeping in the middle of the jungle Elvis and his team set up an impressive camp with comfortable hammocks covered by mosquito nets. Elvis has spent his entire life in and around the jungle so his knowledge of the wildlife is second to none. When we arrived at the airport, even the staff was well-familiar with Elvis and warned us that we would be in for a great trip.
Already planning to come back in six months to visit during the wet season (dry vs. wet seasons are different experiences) and will undoubtedly be dialing Elvis to lead the way!

One of the most amazing, spiritual, fun and a bit scary experiences in my life! It was a couples trip and we decided to take 5 day tour in Amazonas called “At Limit”. We walked 50km through the rainforest, mud, rivers and slept in the jungle. On the 3rd night we slept in the cabin in Santa Sofia from where we took canoe back to Leticia (40km on Amazon river). The cabin doesn’t have electricity but has very much needed showers and toilets!😁 During the whole trip, we had 2 guides (hunters from the Jaguas tribe) and Amazon Tour guide Elvis. Elvis is local with more than 15 years of tour experience and knows the area, and Alcide and Enrique (hunters) were there to make sure we all get safely to our destination. Along the way, they all helped us prepare the shelter, took care of the food and water, and taught us about the jungle and how to survive in it if needed.
As a girl I can say it wasn’t the easiest trip, especialy since I was “blessed” by the period on the day of the trip, but it was manageable.
Something that I wasn’t so prepared is the huge humidity. Be prepared to feel totaly sweaty and gross 15 minutes after you enter the jungle, but once you finish the trip you will be grateful for the experience!
Also, be prepared to have mindblowing experiences, night walks in the heart and lungs of Earth, meet new friends (human and others), listen to the stories about Korupira, and remember to cherish simple things in life!
100% recommended for all of the people who want to experience nature at it’s best, have fun while learning new things, meet new people and cultures, or just want to remember the power of Mother Nature.
Amazon Tour also has other tours (6 levels). Our tour is level 5, while the toughest one is the same as ours but you would have to build your own shelter (no hammock or plastic roof provided) and hunt for food.

The tour was what I expected plus more! The tours through the indigenous villages and seeing their way of life was something so interesting. Our tour guide Jerardo was very knowledgeable to all the flora and fauna. I was 100 percent satisfied with the whole trip. The meals 3 times a day were absolutely amazing. Such beautiful scenery! I would recommend anyone who loves to explore and see different cultures to book a trip with him. Its a once in a life time experience!

First of all the organisation of this trip is pretty much faultless . Timings, pick ups, transfers etc.. I did the 4 night 5 day Jungle and amazon river tour, everything was pretty much as described, and my Guide (Alvis) and Translator (Mitchi) have so many years experience between them. It is clear to see that they are passionate and go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience in the Amazon, it is an incredible sensation seeing nature and more so when the guys are passionate about showing you and informing you of everything in nature of purpose tio humans. They answered every question I had in detail and from start to finish we were attended. It was a 2 person tour and felt very personalised.
It is expensive but I understand why, the planning, park admissions, accommodation, food, boat maintenance, fuel, plus the logistics and organisation and the preparation before hand add up then there is the insurance they provide and of course their expertise. Call it a lifetime investment and you can walk away from the tour knowing that you experienced something incredible and amazing.
After this tour I asked for a more personalised jungle experience last minute and tue next thing I knew I was walking through the jungle with my translator and a local ticuna community /tribe guide and sleeping out in nature whilst looking for all sorts of night animals.
They have many stories to tell and I'm sure you'll have an incredible experience.. get it booked and have a great time!

Are you looking for the real Amazon experience? This is it. We travelled 3 weeks between the Amazon (Brasil, Colômbia and Peru) and Peru and we scheduled a 10 days tour with Amazon tours that was one of the best experiences we had so far. Most of people don't want to spend so much time in the amazon but I really recomend the "Amazon plan borders without limits" where you can enjoy the amazon beauty between 3 countries with a fabulous staff that will take into consideration your needs. Our guide was Gerardo, very experienced guide who speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese (for us was a plus) and has a lot of knowledge about the fauna, flora and cultures from this area. It was a very demanding trip since we were in the low season when the water is lower that usual so the boat cannot go deep into the jungle and take you to walk more miles but that was OK. Very diverse wildlife species around (Monkeys, insects, caimans, dolphins, slaughs, birds), you learn about the cultures, how to fish, how to use the botanic for several uses, really interesting. The best spots we went where Marasha reserve (mandatory)where you can kayak along the lake, see caimans and enjoy the beautiful views of the area, Tanimboca reserve (to sleep in the trees, for canopy tours and for one of the best night walks we had) and Santa Sofia (best experience to feel the amazon very deep in the jungle). I will not say more, I don't want to spoiler!!! Fabio was the comercial who organize the tour for us. He was very very helpful and provide all information we need before and during all tour. Please notice that if you are trying to reach the agency it can take some days to have feedback since the internet connection in Leticia is very poor. Using whatsapp is the best option. Elvis is the owner and also a guide, very nice person that we loved to meet. We couldn't expect better than we had and I will for sure comeback to see more wildlife in high water season (recommended). If you are looking for a good agency with fair prices that is REALLY trustful this is the one!

Amazon Tour was the perfect choice for our 4D/3N jungle tour (we chose the excursion called Amazon Plan Extreme).
More specifically though, our guide, Golbert, was an absolute gem! He was passionate, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about providing us with a memorable experience. He went out of his way to ensure that we were well taken care of and told plenty of interesting stories along the way.
If you’re looking for an authentic experience in the Amazon, look no further than Amazon Tour, but be sure to request Golbert by name. He’s multilingual and has a wealth of knowledge about the jungle!

We did the 5D 4N Amazon plan - Amacayacu Park and Communities with a group of 4. We felt the English tour was fantastic. Our private guide Yair was very knowledgeable about the jungle and tailored the tour to us. Couldn't recommend Yair more. We also had a fantastic boatman Gairson and local tour guide Ronaldo. The tour ran really smoothly and was very well organised. It was also the perfect combination of the Amazon jungle and also seeing how locals live within the rainforest itself. It's hard to pick a highlight but we loved the jungle walks, sleeping in hammocks in the Malloca and traditional fishing. Go with an open mind and don't be expecting to see animals around every corner but we did see lots!
They also have an excellent response time and will respond to your email or WhatsApp usually within a few hours.
Just be aware for vegetarians but particularly pescatarians to specify "only fish, no chicken no beef" as they don't seem to include chicken as a meat!

I could never have enough time and words to express my gratitude, expectations and appreciation for this company. Geraldo, Elvis and others like Orlando and Grayson went beyond my wishes to make my experience unforgettable. Elvis the owner made sure I was always pleased and asked what I wanted. I literally made my own tours and wish lists and Elvis made it happen. Geraldo was my English speaking guide and was with me day and night. He was the nicest guy and made sure I was well taken care of. We had a blast laughing and having a great time day after day!

Tour Guide - El guía fue Jair was fantastic as he spoke English and shared great experience and communication of the Amazon via nature, water and habitats.
We completed a night walk and next day a tour of the mashra lodge. The lunch provided was fantastic as it had all local and fresh produce from chicken, fish and beef.

Our tour was simply amazing. We did the Amazon extreme and the experience of camping out in the rainforest was incredible. Our whole trip was so well organised from pick up at the airport to the last day. Communication beforehand was exceptional, down to them letting us know a local airline had gone out of business and checking we were OK for flights. We couldn't fault the tour company at all, and our guide Yair really made our trip. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and adapted the trip to our abilities. We felt totally safe with him and Orlando the local guide. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime.
Hopefully we'll be back again one day to see more of the Amazon and I'd definitely book with them again. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone

Hello,
I would like to book a tour in Leticia. So far, I have contacted 3 agencies that offer Amazon tours in Leticia, but with response. I don't know if I'm coming in wrong dates, but hopefully I will find somebody who can organize the tour for us, as we have purchased our flight tickets already :)
We are group of 4 people, arriving to Leticia from Bogota on September 9th and returning back on September 13th afternoon.
We would like to start a tour on September 10th in the morning and finish on September 13th, so it's 4 days / 3 nights tour.
