What a nice place on this amazing world, we still have many things to discover and this place has to be on your bucket-list. you have the option to get here in a tour of 4 days in a 4runner trucks. I was in shock when I saw it on my first time, i highlight recommed to visit it.

The flattest place on the planet and every hour the view changes. Salar de Uyuni exceeds all expectations and is truly a top ten bucket list adventure. We spent 3 days exploring the salt flats, islands and the Tunupa volcano.
If you are visiting Bolivia make sure you do not miss out. Amazing. Superb. Fantastic!

We were told how great this is. The majesty described to us was big. But this place is just average. We were totally not bowled over. Guide and his cheerfulness was the only good thing.

Hi! My name is Sebastian. I'm from the Colombia
I are going to The Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt desert in the world, is a place that seems to have come from a dream.
Everything seems to float, especially the islands seen in the distance. It is a unique landscape and an unforgettable experience.
Have you ever been to Bolivia?
It is the first time that I am in Bolivia, I have already had three Coca-Cola today. because I don't think I can see, I haven't chosen my path yet, the floor is white and the weather is freezing but the people here have already found a place with water, but it is a very salty puddle
My family has not had a vacation since last summer, I have never been in the magic of the place, I have also never been in space, but I think that looking at the planet from the outside you could see a white spot on the earth
Many people come here to do commercials, I have seen well-known car brands and perfumes, it is possible for us to get closer. you can find houses made of salt up to the hotel is not to believe
the only bad thing is that if you want to eat something, the hotel is far away
I'm glad I shared this

This place is a must-visit if you are in Bolivia. I went at the beginning of the wet season to see the mirror effect and pictures don't do it justice.

Without a doubt one of the most stunning and special places in the world we have toured, it is advisable to book a three-day tour well in advance from one of the leading companies in the area, rather than from small companies.

You can of course go on your own. There are even people who do it by bike.
But we (and most) do it with a jeep tour. That means first having to spend 8 hours on the bus to get from La Paz to Uyuni. And then a jeep tour for a few days on bad roads to see the salt flats (try to combine it with Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa). But it is really worth it!
Bring warm clothing en a good sleeping bag (or rent one). Make sure your tour guide speaks good english (unless you speak good spanish yourself).

The way to get to the salt flat is only in 4x4 trucks. I recommend you take a tour with an agency, since there are no roads, no mobile signal. The guides know the ways. The best date to see the water mirror is between January and March. The rest of the year is dry and white. Avoid winter since the temperature drops considerably.

Does anyone know what time the tour ends on the 3rd day

When I was there end of December, there were no 3 days tours because part of the national park was closed( I don’t remember which part now). My friend in Houston was in contact with a tour agent based in Santa Cruz who assured her that part of the park is open. I ended up not using him for scheduling issues, but I was lucky because when I arrived in Uyuni all companies confirmed that there are no 3 days tour. It’s better to contact the tour company directly on WhatsApp (it seems like it’s the preferred method of communication in Bolivia. I had a great experience with Andes Salt, they were responsive, professional, and honest. But regardless of the company you choose, I recommend to choose one that is based in Uyuni.
Hello! I've been looking at different photos of this beautiful place. I especially love the blue ones reflecting the fluffy white clouds. What time of the year and what time of the day would be ideal for this view? Should I research the weather in advance or will the attraction company I book with be able to assist me?
Thank you!
Happy travelling!
