We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You can see it from the car it is a rock but it is not a must stop with place. Everything around is so beautiful that this is not so special

Nice to look at as you drive by as it’s right along the highway. I don’t think it requires a stop unless you need a rest or want a particular view for a photo.

If travelling along Ruta 68 and able to stop easily it is worth a quick photo opportunity. If in a hurry you see it clearly from the roadside as you drive past.

Easily observed from the window of the car. No need to stop, No need to get out of the car. It's a rock. Instead drive on another 5 km direction Calafate to Los Colorados and have a walk in a truly spectacular valley.

We stopped at El Obelisco as part of our drive along Routa 68 and one of the many stops with the Quebrada de la Conchas. Every stop is worth it as they are all so different in both shape and color. Extremely beautiful scenery and rock formations. Spectacular in every way. Highly recommended.

If you didn't know better, you'd think you are in Egypt. This reddish rock formation appears as if it had been carefully carved by human hand into one of those gigantic obelisks, It just appears on the side of the road, as you dirve towards Cafayate.

An interestingly shaped rock among the others. Worth the visit and the photography. I make a full circle around it, as each side offers a unique and different photo.
