We have been to this crystal mine several times, and it was always one of the best mines in the regions. As time has gone on, laziness has begun to erode the customer experience. New dirt use to be brought out everyday, but this is...More

They have so many rocks, and crystals to choose from. If you are a collector you must check them out. I love this place and have spent quite a bit in here in the past.

Nice rock shop, large selection of rocks and minerals. Nice selection of local quartz as well as items from around the world. Did not visit the mine on this trip. Certainly a must stop place on every trip to the area

You can buy tools there, but I suggest bringing your own. Three-pronged garden hand tool sells for around $4 in the store, but the quality is not great. One of ours broke. However, we had a great time and found lots of neat crystals and...More

We read numerous reviews before we went to an Arkansas rock shop, and based on those reviews we chose Jim Coleman's shop. We went there to buy the mine run basket and were told that these baskets had not been searched. After we made our...More

Coulda lost hours going through all the things they have - I wanted to buy much more than I did. Hubby took a nap in the car. We didn't do the mine due to weather

On my recent trip, my family visited the rock shop, not the mine. There are lots of rocks to look at. Enjoy the gemstones. The quartz came right out of the mine. You can learn a lot about geology here. Don't hesitate to ask the...More

My husband and I were there 20 years ago and came home with huge beautiful crystal clusters and hundreds of single crystals. After reading all of the reviews, it sounds like there are not many crystals like there was 20 years ago. We are planning a trip to go Sept. 22. I am wondering if it really isn't as good as it was 20 years ago, or if it is. Some comments said that you do not bring up fresh piles anymore for 4 days???? I really would like to know the truth before we head down there from Indiana!!
