First, Andasibe is at least 31/2 hours east of Tana and Mantadia another hour plus to the east. Diademed Sifakas, Indri, Black and white ruffed lemurs, Dwarf lemurs, Bamboo lemurs, frogs, spiders, chameleons - we saw the lot! A real must to visit - we...More

The drive to this park is HARD! Only 14km but takes 90 minutes over very rough terrain. However it is totally worth it. The forest is beautiful. We saw everything from lemurs to chameleons to amazing birds. The jungle itself is magical. Don’t skip this...More

In Madagascar we find a big number of endemic species of plants and animals. Andasibe National Park is one of the most famous parks in Madagascar, covering about 800 ha. One could spend several days here, but also one day will give you an impression...More

We had a great time in the parks around this area. Lots of Lemurs and birds to see. Knowledgeable guides and really enjoyable trekking thru the park.

To get to the heart of the Park one must spend and hour or more on an extremely rough road. But once there not many competing tourists and great variety of wildlife including Indiri and Red belly lemurs.

No facilities whatever are there. So be prepared with something to eat and drink. Your guide will give you this advice anyway! A dirt road which will take 50-60 minutes from where the pavement ends. It was a different fauna compared tp the other parks...More

We had two night walks and a whole day visiting here. Although this is real forest, the guides are excellent in finding the families of the Indris and then locating the other lemur species. We could get within about 2m of the Indris, and their...More

If you want to see Lemurs, go here. A bit of a drive from Tana but worth it. Saw 4 different species with our excellent guide Jimmy. Be ready to hike on the 3 hour trek. The Lemurs are beautiful, noisy, and much fun to...More
