October was very good time to visit. It is the end of dry season, a lot of animals to spot. However weather is very hot...more than 40 C in the shade.

Despite the rain experienced everyday, our Delta visit was spectacular. From the tiny Squirrels to the magnificently large Elephants and everything in between - we were totally amazed by nature every day. Beautiful

Got really close to all the animals! The guides were very skilled and respected the animals, at the same time as they did their best for the guest to see it all.

I have to admit we saw more game driving into More then we did whilst in the park, but there was so much water from recent rains that there was water everywhere, the roads were a bit hard due to all the puddles, but we had a fantastic few days there and loved every minute of it. Stayed at Tuskers... More

This is a great reserve that has water and land based options, just note it is a public park so anyone can enter with their own vehicles, but generally very good game viewing and a birder's paradise. Great luxury lodges

Highlight was the hippo, saw one grab and pull an antelope (something bigger than an impala) underwater, the teeth are viscous.

The guides were excellent and really knew their way around the delta, which is immense. We did some walking safaris on one of the islands and had a surprise encounter with a bull elephant which our guides expertly handled. The mokoro trips were fun and we got to observe many African jacana birds with their chicks up close and personal.... More

We stayed in Wilderness's Xigera camp. The environment of the Delta is completely different from anything else I've experienced. I particularly enjoyed the very large but peaceful elephant we watched for ages eating water lilies & paying us absolutely no attention. Lots of hippos too. I've never been much interested in bird watching but I was almost converted there.

Overall we had reasonable sightings of elephant, bufflalo and good variety of birdlife in a variety of habitats. Also giraffe and zebra

Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta offers the best photographic opportunities. There are several private lodges, with private cabins or modern tents. I recommend flying to the lodge with a small plane from Maun or Kasane airports, and spend at least 4 nights. Moremi Game Reserve has very abundant wildlife everywhere. I was able to see the "big five"... More
