It was a Sunday in Valencia and most of the shops were closed so we decided to visit the world famous aquarium. It was a short and direct bus ride from the cruise ship port to the aquarium, which was open from 10am to 2pm on weekends. It costs 28.50 euros for an adult with an additional 4 euro charge... More

As soon as you arrive you feel like you are looking at the homes of the future. Or is it spaceships that have crash landed in the middle of this ancient place?? The buildings are beautiful and very unusual. Even if you don't go in, just a walk around is worth it. There is the aquarium at one end, then... More

A wet day didn't stop our visit. Some amazing sights. Not too crowded and so much to see. Comfortable shoes a must. Restuarant could have been better, felt a bit like a canteen but food edible. Parking underground? Head for section d or e then climb stairs to payment booth.

Extremely average. Some good exhibits. Dolphin show was below average. We waited 25mins for it to start and then when it did it wasn't that wonderful. The dolphin show in Madrid is much more exciting!

We went on Tuesday morning which coincided with several bus loads of hundreds of school kids. Which didn't help our experience. As others have noted, signage is poor. We headed off to see the Sharks first. Despite signs tellingpeople not to sit down in the tunnels or bang on the glass, the school kids did both. There were no staff... More

This has got to be the best aquarium ever. You need to spend a whole day there to see everything. The dolphin show is the highlight but there's birds, penguins, fish and sharks galore. A really great day out.

I am from Canada and I have seen a lot of aquariums. This aquarium is kind of like all the rest. There are some neat parts to some of the areas though, like walkways are build through the aquariums so the fish can swim around and over top of you. The Arctic exhibit is very sad because the animals are... More

Take the time to make this a stop on your Valencia visit. There are so many exhibits of interest - beautiful displays both indoor and out. The tiniest fish to the largest- all easy to view. There are different sections for each species so if time is limited , pick what you are most interested in. We loved the outdoor... More
