Be careful here after 5 pm. Some guys robbed me here and Polichacao didn't care. It is such a pity because Chacao was really safe some years ago. Not anymore. I understand that the whole city is unsafe, but this place is dark and people...More

Around Altamira there is the business sector of Caracas and very good restaurants and cafes. Enjoyable.

Tris is one of ny favorite places to ser the Ávila un Caracas. It is am amazing place with ole buildings and very close to great cafes and restaurants in Caracas

It is a symbol of the old Caracas with beatifull arrangements, accomodations and safety(important today) and a cross road within the chacao area

Had a lovely sunny afternoon in this square. Waterfall was fab and a nice place and safeish (for Caracas) to people watch and enjoy an ice cream

I wouldn't recommend anybody to go out of their way to see Plaza Altamira, but if you're in the area it's worth a look. It's nicely laid out and has a vaguely European feel about it.
