Panteon has two ambiances: the former Holly Trinity church with all the mentions of our great figures than lies within and the absent ones; and the new maussoleum for Bolívar that seen from aoutside is an abomination, but when inside it's just overwhelming.

The "Panteon Nacional" is a nice building, with a museum right beside it but I was not able to visit it since it was Monday, and it is attached to the Mausoleum of Simon Bolivar, both with a strange/funny looking architectural mixture. Definitely worth visiting...More

Not currently possible to go inside due to renovation work being carried out. Looks like it's not going to be over in a hurry!

I got a guided tour in Spanish, would be great if you can get it in different languages, it gives you an insight of the history of the country, but still it's great how the people Venezuela remember their heroes>
