Very relaxing
Oct. 2019 • Friends
Los Roques is amazing, best beaches in the world ( I have been all over) there are 365 cays for you to enjoy but, if you want a relaxing day at the beach, just 5 minutes away from the grand Roque, Madrisqui is your choice, it is just perfect, if you feel like exploring, you can also walk all the way to the left (looking at the beach), turn left again and you can cross over pirate cay, it is quite an experience because you walk over a path of sand in the middle of the water.

The best place near Gran Roque
Oct. 2018 • Family
In the recreational area of Los Roques there are three main keys that you can visit: Crasky, Madrisky and Fransisky. Crasky is incredible, but is relatively far (20 minutes) from Gran Roque and the regular boats routes do not include it, so if you want to go there you should rent a boat just for you. The second is Fransisky, which is located approximately at 7 to 8 minutes from Gran Roque. The place is very nice, having a shallow area in which you can enjoy the sea but with a low deep and without waves. Sadly, a lot of boats and yacht park there which implies a lot of music, noise and people. In addition there is a lot of Finally, there is Madrisky, which is around 5 to 6 minutes from Gran Roque and also having people is more quiet and enjoyable. Also at the north point of Madrisky you will find a nice place for snorkeling.

A piece of heaven

Come and relax in this beautiful beach, 5 mns away of Gran Roque. Pelicans and seagulls will entertain you while you sunbathe or swim. Do not forget your snorkel, camera and sunblock.

Absolutely stunning beach, warm turquoise waters...what more do yo need? Almost for yourself, also next to CayoPirata where there is a good restaurant (simple, but good food)

Another paradisiac key in Los Roques
Aug. 2017
Clear, blue, still beach with pure white and soft sand. Don't let the short distance (5-7 min from El Gran Roque) fool you, this key is a convenient day trip and equally as beautiful as the rest of the others keys in the breathtaking archipelago. You won't find restaurants, banana boats or nothing of the sort in this key, only a couple of privately owned houses. It is not a snorkelling spot, although you will see many little fish schools all the way to the shore. As the rest of the keys, you will need a lot of sunscreen and a sunbrella because there are no caribbean palmtrees and the reflection of the white sand doubles the sun exposure.
