Nice visit
Jun. 2019
It is the biggest of local popular markets. Great variety of products thought you should check prices and quality compared to shopping centers, sometimes prices here are not that much less. For typical products and souvenirs could be good. Ask for discounts.
They do have a nice food fair with great local food. Arepas and empanadas are real good. It’s a good idea to go in the morning and have breakfast there, afterwards you can check the market.

Reasonable Shopping
Feb. 2018 • Friends
Great place to shop, just be careful and look out for imitation stuff, but all in all great deals, great prices and you can also negotiate a price or two, lol!! Bargains galore!!! You may not know where to begin, but trust it would be worth it! Better and cheaper than shopping at the malls and a wide variety of items from makeup, to clothes, to sheets, to towels!

Shopping

Great shopping. This should be your first place to shop. There is a wide variety of clothes, shoes, perfumes, household items that can be purchased at very reasonable prices.

Has seen better days

When I was growing up, Conejeros was the place to go for the best, most authentic regional food in Margarita. Breakfast and lunch were second to none in quality, quantity and price. Regretfully, like most things in Venezuela, it has gone downhill and today it is a filthy dive with overprice food and less than secure surroundings. Don't bother....go somewhere else. The place also has lots of small stalls that sell everything under the sun, usually copies and cheap imitations of the real thing made in China. If that's your gig, then this is your place. If not, don't even bother; there is no quality here.

Bargains! Bargains! Bargains!
Aug. 2015 • Friends
Bargains everywhere!!! Wow!!! Where to start?
The selection if good is overwhelming! Brands, imitations and genuine all here! Shies, clothes, undies, gifts, everything you can imagine! Well laid out, too!
Tip: always haggle! The vendors are quite dramatic, but you will be amazed that price can drop by almost 50%!!!
If you come to Margarita looking for a bargain here is just right for you!

Wonderful shopping!

Place is big! Don't choose the first vendor you see. Walk around. Aisles are marked with cardboard signs so remember where you saw what you wanted. Many vendors have the same goods so walk, walk, walk!

SHOPPING!!!!!
Jul. 2014 • Friends
I got alot of items for a good price. I especially liked the artisan items and the souvenir jerseys. It is a lesson in haggling..lol...I asked for discounts and bargains as I practiced my Spanish! It is huge so you really can't walk it in one hour as I tried to do. I only made it to one market so I returned the next day. When I return I would love to buy a Hamaca!

Good to see, but not anything special.
Avoid the adjacent market if you want to eat here. The fish are covered with flies and the chickens are not refrigerated. We had the empanadas in the market. They were fine. The fruit juices are safe to drink. The place is "down and dirty." Good to check out, but watch your wallet here (not beacuse it is expensive, but there is an undesirable crowd lurking around).

best fried fish in Margarita
If you want to taste the fried fish Venezuelan style with Arepas and fried plantain this is where you should be going! Its not expensive and you will get a chance to listen to the people of Margarita speak with their unique accent. Try the "fosforera" soup!
