A real drawbridge!

This attraction may not be the largest castle, but it is impeccably maintained. Quite a refreshing historic piece in the middle of the urban sprawl of Pamaptur.
There is a real drawbridge!
Quite a nice visit when in the city!

Small structure but cute

Not a big deal as far as old Spanish castles goes but if you're in the hood it will make a nice stop to take some pictures. The best part is that there are some fabulous Venezuela food stalls right next door where you can get meat pies (empanadas) and great arenas together with delicious fresh fruit juices. That alone is worth stopping for.

Interesting but too simple

The castle is in good shape and well maintained. However there is not information about the historic events that occurred there. There is no collection, just the castle structure with a few rusted cannons. The view is nice so it is a good place to take some pictures and if you are interested in history, you need to make the research previously to your visit to the castle

Nothing particularly special
A quick stop only is all that is required here in order to see the site and get a few pics. Seems to be quite popular with Venezuelan tourists though.
