We got there when the peak was covered by fog and it was really cold. After about 10 minutes, the fog went away and you could see the beautiful road below and hills.

Great to have somewhere that's nice and cold in Venezuela. We stopped for baño break and bought some hot tea. Was cold/rainy/foggy, but who doesn't like that type of weather???

If you're going to the city you should stop here and take a look. Have a nice walk to the church and drink a good hot chocolate.

This is at 4,000 Mts above sea level, so beware if you are prone to headaches and height sickness. Otherwise, the view is fantastic and the air is pure and fresh.

I've been here a couple of times just for the sake of visiting. There aren't many activities, but many visitors enjoy horse-back riding (trips from 8 to 90 minutes and very affordable) and some artisan shopping. There's a strip of tents along the main road...More
