it's good to take a rest and enjoy the silence, but there is not to much to see. Have a walk around the place and come back.

The Botanical Garden was not what I had expected, but it's certainly a beautiful and serene place to visit. You can prepare a picnic to take with you and sit on the grass near one of the ponds. The flowers were not in bloom when we visited. As far as I can tell, the park doesn't constantly rotate their flowers... More

The botanical garden is a peaceful place to spend a few hours reading, walking, enjoying, nature, or having a picnic. There are yoga groups that meet in the park, a coy pond with the largest coy fish I have ever seen, and a ropes course about 40-50 ft up in the air if your up for it. It ends with... More

The quantity of plants isn't so amazing, but the layout of the park and variety of plants is excellent. There are ponds with koi and turtles, and a little creek that runs behind the garden area. There is also a zipline that I saw many families enjoying together.

Young garden but worth a few hours. Easy to get a taxi to and from. The high ropes course and zip line is well organized and seems very safe even by North American standard. Fun to watch too.

Some very nice trees and fauna in this park and it's a nice break from the toxic fumes being pumped out by ancient busses and cars in Merida traffic! This is a nice little park and there is cool adventure activities in the tree tops if you feel up to it. I really enjoyed the pond full of Koi fish... More

I did the ropes course with my wife and two 5 year olds. We all loved it. Don't know how much it had to do with garden itself but well worth it.

The gardens themselves are lacking in a few place, such as their rose garden was a little pathetic, but other parts were great. The best part, and the reason why the gardens got 5 stars was the tree climbing and zip-line. For not much money you get harnessed up, climb up a tree and then walk on ropes from tree... More
