I did this trekking with friends, the weather was a bit tricky because the rain but it was worth it. This trail is not very difficult but a bit long.

Not active and chose this route as I think it's the easiest one. Not much hiking experience and never hiked alone, so this was a first for me. Went end of September, there weren't too many people, only about 10 or so people along the way there. Was lucky enough to have sunny and clear weather. As everyone else mentioned,... More

Long hike with lots of up and down to a lovely lake at the foot of Cerro Torre. Mix of forest and meadow areas and some wetlands/small streams. Lots of birds along the trail (like Giant Woodpecker, Andean Condors, Patagonian parrots, and more. Unfortunately, the trail along the lake leading to a viewpoint of Mt. Fitzroy had been destroyed by... More

Very simple walk starting from just outside of town. The paths are all well marked and are good underfoot the whole way to the lake. The only slightly unsteady part was the extra bit to a viewpoint on the other side of the lake. It was worth it though to get a bit closer to the Glaciar and wasn't too... More

We were very lucky with the weather - no wind, no clouds, clear sun! And almost all the way to the Laguna Torre you see Cerro Torre! The walk is quite easy - 9 km from town center - 2 or 3 climbs for not more than 10 minutes. If you like, you can estend your train to Mirador Maesti... More

After hiking Fitz Roy, we did this the next day. In that sense, it was a let down, but still spectacular on its own. Great view of Glacier Grande. Spoiler alert - you may see "icebergs" (mini) in the lake. You can continue around to the right of the lake for a closer view of the Glacier. I went part... More

Once you have made it and hiked up the medium difficulty trail will you be a) delighted just to have made it and b) rewarded with the fantastic view that is the Laguna Torre. Surrounded by the magnificent Fitz Roy, Glaciers and the valley towards El Chalten will you not be able (physically and emotionally) to withdraw from this view... More

We had a beautiful day to hike to the Laguna Torre. Round trip it took us 5 hours, which includes stops for pictures and a 20 minute stop at the top for a snack. It was not a terrible strenuous hike, a few short steep sections and a lot of ups and downs. We are a couple in our fifties... More

This is a brilliant walk, full of interest and lovely views of waterfalls, mountains, glaciers and streams as you go up. Take in the view at the Mirador Cerro Torre before continuing up to the impressive view of Cerro Torre and the Torre Glacier from Laguna Torre. Try to choose a day when the cloud allows the tops of the... More

This was an absolutely exhausting walk and I am glad I completed it. (If you are in your 20s, just run it as many others did!)
