This little post office building has been here since 1902 and has been the post office since 1910. It was a telagraph office and an NWMP detachment.

I got there at around 2:45 PM and the place was closed for lunch. They are open in the morning till noon or so, and they again from 3:30 PM till 5:00 or so. So get there early! By the way I couldn't find any...More

The post office here has a station set up in front where you can stamp a page in your passport. Kids as well as adults seemed to enjoy it.

Nice to see and walk inside. Had to get our Yukon/Alaska Visitor PASSPORT stamped and this was a nice stop to check out!

A great souvenir is a commemorative Canada Post stamp. They are open nearly all the time, about a block from "downtown" on the road paralleling the Nares River.
