We were annoyed and dissapointed we followed the brown signs for this venue. Not realised you had to book. So this is a warning to others check its open and book. We would have loved to have paid a visit. As it looks really nice....More

We are very sorry that The Hall was closed when you came. We do advertise wherever possible that tours are to be pre-booked. Where no bookings exist on a day there are times in which we do have to close to carry out essential maintenance....More

This is a privately owned hour, with guides given by the owners. it is a quirky place with lots of memorabilia. We particularly liked to railway station bar. Hard to describe but definitely worth a visit

Lovely visit to the hall,very interesting and beautiful house with fantastic grounds. We spent just under 2 hours on a tour of the hall was very informative. Well worth a visit.

What a place. A Victorian mansion full of pictures furniture and collectables in masses of rooms where you were allowed to sit and hear from the family all about it.
