One can always detect regular visitors to Bodelwyddan Castle like myself since they can always unhesitatingly pronounce the name. For any childless couple or any couple who need a break from the children and can arrange it, this is a perfect choice for a 3...More

Gardens are beautiful (even in the rain in winter), they even have a maze. Sadly we missed the Saturday 2pm tour of the trenches, (they were training trenches for soldiers in the first world war) but there was plenty of activities inside the castle itself...More

Decided to make a visit before we made our way home after a wonderful 3 night stay at the adjoining Warner hotel. Glad we made that decision. The castle had a gothic feel but was stunning in design. The furnishings and decor fitted the castle...More

The last day of our holiday we visited Bodelwyddan. What a stunning place: reminded me a bit of Belvoir Castle. Beautiful tiling, lovely billiard table, cast iron fireplaces, magnificent drapes, gorgeous wallpaper, fabulous woodwork, and views for miles and miles! Fantastic topical displays commemorating the...More

Excellent and educational display in the trenches. Knowledgeable, interested and engaging guides. The rain added to the atmosphere but didn't impede access as the trench is so well and safely constructed. Thank you to everyone. The castle exhibition is simply exceptional.

The castle and park are next to the hotel , managed by Warners. Entry to the castle is not very well signposted as you end up parking in the hotel car park instead of the castle car park down the hill. Entry fee to the...More

This was such a disappointing place to visit. Under staffed, over priced and utterly underwhelming. The guide book covered details of items in the rooms which were no longer there, describing paintings and furniture which did not exist. It was not made clear that the...More

Bodelwyddan Castle is next to the Warner’s hotel and it’s worth paying a visit there if you are a hotel guest as you get a discount on the entry price. You probably wouldn’t make a special visit there otherwise, though, as the rooms you can...More

Excellent as ever!! Trenches are great, although you do have to BOOK to go in,the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable, shame to see them abused,as happened today. The castle and grounds are beautiful, well worth a visit any time of year.

You have posted your question on the incorrect page, this page is for Bodelwyddan Castle & Park Trust. You would need to contact Warners Hotel, which is a separate organisation.
