You just cannot go wrong here, now beware it is not accessible as the other beaches In Harris and parking is far from easy, you should research it well first. However it is a long wild beach open to the Atlantic, less busy than the...More

On that grey day in heaven, we stepped onto the immaculate whiteness and floated on stars. A trillion grainy stars, forming a brilliant path to the azure sea. We collected the smaller, rounder stars in a pail of dreams, to take back to the rest...More

This stretch of the Harris coast has to be seen to be believed. Utterly hypnotic in its beauty. Sit for a while with your camera and catch the light as it changes.

Stopped to let Molly Hound out on our way from the ferry, just out of luck stopped by an old bus and walked off over the sand dunes, what an amazing beach hiding over the hill, well worth a look do not just drive past

When you park its impossible not to run down and walk on this most beautiful beach, whatever the weather. We were lucky to have good weather and the sea was clear and inviting (though too cold to go in in early July). It was windy...More

Followed the advice from Trip Advisor to find this gem. Wet and windy but still beautiful and we were the only people on it! Such a shame, would love to have been there in the sunshine but..... still worth the walk across the fields.
