Read up about this, parked in the car park walked to the entrance and down to the bridge and then my legs went to jelly and couldnt look down. Managed it across the bridge and down to the viewing platform - still to high for me but did manage a couple of photos. Not for the faint hearted or those... More

A massive chasm with views from the bridge 200 feet above the river, a walk to the observation platform has more of the awesome views.

We called here on-route to Durness and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you hate heights it's not for you unless like me you want to challenge yourself . There are different routes you can take but these are shown on the information board near the entrance. There is a suspension bridge over the gorge with a path that leads to a... More

We visited the Gorge to see the waterfall, which is really spectacular and would be much improved during the rainy season. (Rain is good for some things) But also to test my fear of heights, as there is a footbridge and also a viewing platform. I'm pleased to say that I won the day, crossing both and taking some memorable... More

We visited during a stay in Ullapool. We had been before but several years ago. This time the entrance is on the opposite side of the bridge. It's a very enjoyable walk with great views over the gorge.

Before you start have a good look at the map by the gates. I didn't and had to do parts of it twice to see it all. The right hand gate takes you down a fairly steep path to the suspension bridge. If you turn right over the suspension bridge you get to the viewing platform a bit further down... More

I don't do well with heights, but this is a must see. Walking across the small suspension bridge was awe inspiring. Once you cross over the gorge there is a second viewing area a few hundred feet to your left where you can step out onto a steel deck structure and look straight down through the deck. After recrossing the... More

This was a great loop walk of about 45 minutes. The views are fantastic. But the best view is from the suspension bridge. At the entrance the sign identifies a very short walk to the bridge and a longer walk along the rim of the gorge. But the trail is a loop connecting both walks.
