Worth the short walk from the centre of Ballachulish to see this old quarry. The excavated part is flooded but the slate walls are quite impressive. There is a short marked walk around the periphery and interesting history of the quarry on site.

Wouldn't have gone out of my way for it, but it's right in the middle of Ballachulish, so if you're staying there, check it out. Great photo op.

Lovely place for a walk - we also spotted 2 dippers a heron and thousands of frogs 🐸🐸 we loved the peaceful area with easy or hard walks - nearby cafe and gift shop was gorgeous and very friendly

Took a short walk up to the quarry. It was scenic although the hail took away from the enjoyable scenery.

Interesting history of the Ballachulish slate industry with excellent information boards. Low level walk around the quarry and a fine walk with good views if you take the path to the rear of the quarry. Good parking next to the Co-op and information centre.

We took our dog around the Quarry, it was great, lots to see and read about the Quarrymen. Nice place to idle away an hour of so. Lots of information boards too.

Stumbled into the quarry by accident, but glad we did as it was a very interesting short walk with heaps of information on its former life.
