Stunning views, worth the climb. We took the route from Church Stretton so there are some steep parts but it is a relatively easy climb, it took us about 3 hours from start to finish. The Iron Age Hill Fort at the top is clearly...More

We had a great afternoon's walk over Caer Caradoc on Good Friday. It is a bit of a steep climb but worth it as it is a very atmospheric place with iron-age fortifications and volcanic rock formations with stunning views across Shropshire in all directions.

We had a fantastic afternoon walk up Caer Caradoc - took about 3 hours roundtrip. Well worth the 1.25 hour drive from Birmingham.

We walked up and over Caer Caradoc and on to Lawley beyond which was an excellent days walk out of Church Stretton. The paths were very good and the views over Church Stretton, The Long Mynd, The wrekin and Wenlock Edge were fantastic.

This is one of those walks that you really have to do because it is there. The climb up is challenging but worth the effort. The caves on top are ideal to shelter in should you be up on top when the rain starts to...More

We loved this walk, started at base walked around and climbed the steep end to top (can walk further round for gentler incline) and walked all across the top. Brilliant! About 5 miles.
