Although the car park here can get busy, a few minutes walk up the valley leads to peace and quiet. It is worth going up to Pole Bank, where you are rewarded with 360 degree views of Shropshire and beyond. A good National Trust cafe...More

The Carding Mill Valley is where the tourists tend to congregate. Its a beautiful place and can be tranquil despite the visitors. Well worth visiting

This is a beautiful place, you can walk for miles, paddle in the brook and kids can try to find fish with their fishing net. There's a gift shop, cafe and toilets but we always take a picnic it's about four pound to park for...More

Lovely spot, good National Trust cafe, also an NT shop, lots of parking, but can get very busy, particularly at weekends.
