We traveled through the wolds while on holiday in alvingham last week. All I can say is , beautiful. Even though there has not been any rain for weeks.amazing views of the English country side at its most glorious.

We followed a route that started at Caistor and drove to Nettleton and onto Walesby visiting the Ramblers church. Next to Tealby on to Kirmond le Mere , then driving to Binbrook and Brookenby and finally finishing in Rothwell . A bit of every thing...More

The Lincolnshire wolds don't automatically spring to mind for the average walker but they should. For rolling hills and nice flat walking it's ideal and there are some great circular routes to be achieved that take in all manner of ancient monuments and interesting bits...More

Loverly country side. Great for horse riding, walking,cycling. Gentle hills. Lots of cyclists. Louth and Horncastle have shops, pubs and places to stay. Do’nt tell how good it is. We live here. Also many motorcyclists.
