If you like steak then this is your place. Really enjoyable meals in pretty simple pub atmosphere. Take your pick of room to sit in, or enjoy the garden in summer months. Few things on throughout the year.

Lovely night on Friday celebrating a friend's birthday. 13 of us had steak cooked on the 350 degree temperature stones - in front of us. Cocktails lovely. Lee and his team helped us all have a good night. 🍹😃🍸 Thank you! 🍸😃🍹

This pub has done a lot recently to update one of the bars and a new menu. Lee who makes the delicious food there really makes the best roast in the area. It's not a carvery but the meat and potatoes served on a plate...More

We just tried Sunday Lunch at the Royalist. Great food and service, comfortable room and fantastic value. There was a good range of mains, starters and deserts with vegetarian options, also a choice of three real ales. Well worth a visit.
