Great Service
Jul. 2021
We were swayed to book this based on the volume of positive reviews, so glad we did! Staff were attentive and well prepared even on a busy summers morning. We hired a trailer and a tag along. All bikes in great condition and made for a thoroughly enjoyable day with a 2 and 4 year old. We will definitely be back to do this again one day!

Amazing service and over and above the usual run of the mill business
Oct. 2021 • Couples
Visited Wadebridge to cycle the Camel Trail. Unfortunately had a rear tyre failure on our own cycle. We visited a couple of shops to find a replacement the first shop was not interested and quite rude. We crossed the roundabout and went into Camel Trail Cycle Hire to enquire if they had any inner tubes. They didn’t but the guy was very helpful and advised where to buy one locally and then offered to fit it if we could find one. We bought a new inner tube and he fitted it for us. We were very thankful and asked for the bill. Surprisingly there was no charge (yes free)
What absolutely amazing customer service to people who weren’t customers!!!
We often visit to cycle the trail as a family (7+ of us) and we will return to hire our cycles from here in the future, A perfect example of how to run a business.
Well done

An amazing day on the Camel trail !

Hired 2 electric bikes from this company in September 2021. Great quality bikes and we really enjoyed around 36 miles along the fantastic Camel trail. Good to see that we got free parking on site which was really appreciated. A very friendly team - look forward to hiring more bikes next year !

Fantastic customer service. Loads very knowledgable about the bikes. We asked for panniers and they leant them to us no problem. Reasonably priced bike hire.

Arrived at 11am this morning not having booked bikes and were expecting to be turned away with it being August - we were pleasantly surprised that they had a few bikes available.
Very friendly staff, bikes were adjusted to suit us and we were on our way within 5 minutes of arriving!
Excellent service would definitely recommended these guys.

Great Bike Hire
Aug. 2021 • Family
Good cycle hire at the start of the Camel Trail in Wadebridge. Arrived at 1.30pm and you can get an afternoon rate, a bit cheaper at £16 per cycle. Waiting for the bikes to return which is mainly between 2.30 & 3pm. They’re a cheery bunch and get you on the road as soon as possible.

Cycling the Camel Trail
Jul. 2021
Hired to adult bikes and a junior bike to cycle the camel trail to Padstow, it was a great day out! Really good value for money, service was great and we were provided with all we needed such as a lock for the bikes, helmets, etc. The trail was brilliant, literally over the road from the cycle hire and completely pedestrianised all the way to Padstow. Really child friendly and a great hour/ hour and a half spent to cycle to Padstow (where we would have struggled to park if we'd have driven.

A brilliant day out!

Very helpful staff who adjust the bike to suit you. We wanted to swap a bike and that was no problem. Electric bikes also available. Situated in the middle of the camel trail so handy for exploring Bodmin or Padstow. We managed to do both during our days hire. Nice flat trail that was suitable for our elderly mother in law (68) Helmets & locks can be provided.
A very positive experience on well maintained bikes.

First time electric bike user
Jun. 2021 • Couples
First time hiring an E bike and their Volt bikes are great. £30 for a days hire was absolutely worth it, considering it made the whole journey enjoyable. I wouldn't have enjoyed it at all if I had a normal bike. We covered 38 miles and the battery 'just lasted' which was fine.

Definitely recommend if you're not particularly fit and want to cover a great distance. As a first time user of an electric bike, it was so easy. You still need to peddle normally but as the battery just acts as a boost it makes peddling a doddle. I've never really enjoyed cycling much, but this is a game changer for me now. Even considering getting one to tootle round the roads at home.

As for the route, we popped into Bodmin Jail for lunch, and they welcome cyclists in their cafe. You don't need to pay anything to get into the court yard. Lunch was delightful, though a little slow...I must admit I enjoyed the break before heading back on the bike.

Padstow is Padstow. You can get better information elsewhere. Hoards of tourists and seagulls in equal measure. Rick's made it Padstein. We had coffee and headed off within 15 minutes. It was also our 6th visit possibly and we have previously enjoyed Stein's fish and chips on the front. Loved them but there's probably better options more independent
