There are many better pubs around which have a much warmer reception to customers. I would avoid unless you like miserable staff serving you.

Great pub. Historic and picturesque and excellent food. Only criticism is that menu not changed often enough. Ladies night on Mondays which means half price for most dishes so it's always fully booked! Definitely recommend a visit.

On the night we visited the service was very bad, the excuse given the was busy. But having to wait over an hour before our order was taken was beyond a joke.
