After a great weekend staying in North Berwick with the family we decided to finish our trip with a walk to the top of the Law. The car park is a busy place so had to squeeze car in. The paths to the top are good quality and not slippy so not too difficult if u have small kids. It... More

North Berwick Law is a bit steep but it is quite easy to mount it. The view you get from the summit is stunning as North Berwick Law is the only hight in that area. You can see North Berwick and even Tantallon Castle. It is totally worth mounting this hill!

Beautiful walk. Even though it was breezy today. Nice easy walk up hill. Following a well trodden path. View at the top was spectacular. We could make out aurthers seat and Edinburgh Castle in the distance. A clear view of bass rock and craigleith of course. Looked like a hard task from the town. But glad now we choose to... More

The walk took about an hour. Steep in parts, but worth it for the views from the top. The 6 year old flew up and down very quickly. the over 40's found it a bit more taxing. Wouldn't recommend it in wet weather as I imagine the rocks would be quite slippy.

We really enjoyed this great walk which is relatively easy but you do need to wear good walking shoes/boots. The views from the top were spectacular and the wild horses that we sat and watched for quite some time made the walk even better. A must do in North Berwick which is only a short train trip from Edinburgh.

Situated in the beautiful East Lothian town of North Berwick, the Law is a conical hill overlooking the town and stunning beaches. With views to the world famous Bass Rock. The whale bones atop the hill have now been replaced with replicas. Depending on your fitness it can take 20 minutes to an hour to get to the top. Definitely... More

Easy enough to walk up here. Good footpaths nothing to dangerous with common sense. When you get to the top you are rewarded with the best views across East lothian and the Firth of Forth. A must do if in the area.

Climbed North Berwick Law with 2 young boys aged 5 and 3. They both managed it and had a great time, although there is a little bit of scrambling required for those with short legs! Even our 3 year old managed the whole climb - it took about an hour to climb up, look round and come back down. Perfect... More

We recently walked up North Berwick Law with our 4 year old. It was a fantastic adventure and well worth the views at the top. It isn't an easy climb and I wouldn't really recommend it to parents with small children.
