Visited North Berwick with my wife on a day trip on Saturday 15th September 2018. On entering North Berwick and catching our first glimpse of the law we both commented that we would have to climb it at some point during our visit, and we...More

15 minute walk from law car park to top with a few steep sections. Great view from top. Spent some time enjoying the view with a picnic. Nice afternoon

This is the ultimate Marilyn (500 + feet) its steep and a good effort to climb but utterly rewarding. Archeology fascinating, views fabulous but it might be best when the top is lost in the mist and it seems like you are all alone and...More

We were not sure if we should climb up the Law considering the weather... But, the wind dropped and the rain stopped briefly so we decided to go. It is a moderate climb and care should be taken in wet conditions. Well worth the climb...More

I saw this hill from the Tesco car park and said to my partner that we had to do it. Fair enough he said, but we had 3 kids with us aged 4, 9 and 11. I searched for a review which mentioned younger children...More

If you are staying in North Berwick for any longer than 24 hours you must walk, or in some bits climb, up the Law. We are all in our late 60's, early 70's, and managed it in about 40 mins taking our time. Kids could...More

Given that this is quite a small hill, it stands alone with nothing higher in any direction and overlooks the sea. A proper steepish satisfying climb to a summit worthy of something much bigger. It was very clear when I did it and you really...More

We are staying at the bottom of the Law and I couldn't look at it for more than 24 hours without wanting to get to the top with my two dogs. The side we look at is very sheer and so walking up on the...More

So beautiful at the top by the whale bone. It is tiresome walking up but is worth it eventually. The view is overlooking all of North Berwick and the sea it is truly astounding and rewarding!

Take the B1347 from the A198 in North Berwick and the car park is on the left just after Law Primary School.
