Not the best bar in town, seems more of a mans pub as there were no females present until we went in. Thought the drink was a bit expensive and no real atmosphere unless you want to watch sport.

Had a few pints of Hop House whilst playing pool. Lovely drinks and decent selection of draught beers. Staff seemed friendly and prices were reasonable.

We both have visited this set back from the high Street, older man's/locals pub, probably best visited on a freezing cold day, when the log fire crackles away.

You can find some local bears on tap and also on bottles. Maybe a pitstop before you god to The Scottish Seabird Centre a few blocks away.

went for few drinks during NB stay. Nice pints of Rockin Rudolph for me and wife had wine and vodka..no complaints. lovely roaring fire and nice festive atmosphere.
