A new experience to discover this small museum. Still a work in progress in some areas. But a good local exhibition of what life was like in old King's Lynn. So glad that the Old houses haven't all been lost. There looks to be a...More

This is not a polished tourist attraction, (like the other museum in Lynn up by the Minster) but more a fascinating, slightly rough round the edges collection of displays and photographs. We spent over an hour wandering round and I definitely learnt a few things...More

Visited this quite small museum but has lots of interesting artefacts and information about Kings Lynn. Really like the model of Tudor times as it made it clear how town has evolved over the years. Staff were very helpful.

This museum is definitely worth a visit. The volunteers working there are very knowledgeable about the area, and really interesting to talk to. The museum itself is a fascinating snapshot of the fishing trade.

A really interesting museum of local history of this lovely town. Most taken with the history of the old fishing families and their way of life as it used to be. An extremely hard life too.

A very interesting museum-a unique part of old Kings Lynn. difficult to believe that families used to live in such small houses. A very concise picture of when the town was a more important port and fishing town.

This is well worth visiting! It's an excellent local museum, staffed by volunteers who convey its stories with enthusiasm and knowledge. The Museum gives a clear understanding, helped by displays and the historic cottages, of the history of Kings Lynn. It's quite humbling to see...More
