Was recommended to this and wasn’t sure from the car park. Very friendly and helpful staff though, and once inside was delighted by the tranquil and picturesque walk through the gardens. The cafe was also serving excellent home made cakes & a friendly welcome.

Really super, tranquil, natural environment. There is birdlife and lovely grassy walkways around the various water features. If you are in the area this is a place NOT to be missed. (Michael & Valerie RICHARDSON)

Had a nice afternoon ramble here. Weather was perfect although the plants where past their best. Nature trail was a bit boggy.

This unique location offers beautiful views, delightful water gardens, a hide to watch heron and kingfishers, and the delightful Jane in the tea rooms who makes the biggest variety of cakes we have ever seen. Wonderful place to visit.

The combination of water and lovely gardens contributes to a really tranquil place. Much of the planting is a mixture of order and disorder which does it no harm at all as it is delightful wandering about over bridges, structures and unstructured paths and just...More
