My wife and I have holidayed regularly in the Costa del Sol and one of our favourite places is Nerja - especially the Balcon de Europa. Often, it is our lunchtime stop whenever we travel between our home in Roquetas and one of the resorts in the Málaga region. We have also stayed in Nerja itself and, up the hill,... More

This is a lovely church to look around and admire the statues and decoration. We were lucky enough to be there just before Christmas, and the imaginative nativity scene was probably the most delightful I've ever seen. At night the church was decorated in neon lights, making it a focal point of the Balcon. How nice to find a hassle... More

Beautiful location for a quaint spanish wedding. At the weekend from about May there is a conveyor belt of weddings all very beautiful and definately worth sitting in one of the many cafe/bars in the square to look on and enjoy the happy atmostphere.

This is a lovely centerpiece for Nerja. On Sundays the locals all attend mass here and sing hymns (acapella), which resound throughout the square. After mass, they all spill out into the square for something to eat at the many cafes.

A beautiful church on the centre of Nerja. Exquisite altar space for quiet reflection. Erected in 1505, beautiful vaulted wooden ceiling. The bells ring during the day which adds to the atmosphere
