The main reason why I wanted to visit Sinaia is Peles Castle! It’s the real beauty!! The entrance to the castle is quite expensive (30lei for just the ground floor + another 30lei if you want to see the first floor). The tours are for...More

This castle was amazing. Gorgeous and well maintained. We did a tour of the inside but didn't pay the extra to take photos because it seemed kind of pricey, though after looking at the weapons rooms I kind of wish I had. There was so...More

I have visited several castles in Transylvania and this is the best. At the entrance you can choose to buy a photo-ticket. All I can say is... DO IT. There might be some queuing to get in.

Great Palace! Enjoyed our visit very much, there weren't too many people. We went on the English speaking tour, our guide was clear and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!

Must see building and grounds, with interior seemingly untouched during 100 years of home use. Beautiful craftsmanship and latest technology for the time. The tour was paced quickly without ability to linger. We were unaware of the photo tax and separate fee for the 2nd...More

The gardens were in fall blooms and the surrounding views were spectacular. Be aware there is a picture taking fee if you use your camera in the Palace. We took a private tour that included this lovely place that the locals call their own. Primarily,...More

We were surprised to find that Peles Castle was not a large castle--rather was a very large but manageable home! The grounds are lovely and the tour was not long. It was spooky to look at from the outside but inside I could actually see...More

We stayed in an Airbnb in Sinaia and used it as a base to go to Bran and Brasov. Peles is right in Sinaia. Have fun.
