We visited this place in 21.04.2017. We came from Bucharest summer +7 to Peles winter with 40-70 cm snow, -5 and icy roads! It was really scary to get there. But the castle itself looks fantastic! Highly recommend to visit it. Standard tickets were 35 lei + 35 lei for making photos. But it's worth it 100%!

Peles and Pelisor castle are castles from the fairytale! We did not have time to visit interior parts because we arrived when it was closed, but we had time to walk around the area and take some nice pictures. I'm pretty sure both castles are very interesting inside as outside. Maybe next time. There is public toilette around and some... More

The castle was extremely busy when we visited and we had to wait for a considerable time even though we were booked on a coach tour. The waiting area was impressive as it was within the courtyard area of the castle. There were many details in the architecture to look at whilst passing the time. However, more information or some... We were quiteimpressed from the castle. A must see place in Romania. There is one thing that I don't understand: youhave to pay to take pictures. Quite stupid. It should be either permitted or forbidden

We took the train from Bucharest on a Saturday morning, and walked to the castle from the station. It wasn't as smooth a walk as some reviewers said on here, but there was snow and perhaps we took a wrong route. The castle is stunning although the exterior needs some more upkeep. It's really stunning inside as well, revealing the... More

Impressive castle from the outside and inside. Peles together with Bran Castle, is probably the most crowded attraction in Romania. However, do note that you will need to pay extra if you want to take photo of the interior. It is also a little confusing on the waiting area for the tour because everybody taking any tour seems to crowd... More

While much less famous than "Dracula's Castle", Peles Palace (castle) ranks as one of the great royal estates in the world. While not huge, the interiors are fantastic and extremely well preserved. We were also lucky to have arrived just after a snow and the setting was magical. The castle is set just outside of Sinaia an attractive resort town.... More

I am a member of Newport Castles in Rhode Island. I live near Hearst Castle. I have been to King Ludwig's castle and never have I seen anything as beautiful as this castle. The tour guide actually spoke English and we understood and enjoyed the tour that she presented. The castle tour is very through and you can actually walk... More

This castles was cool on the outside but it is the inside that must be seen. It rivals anywhere else in luxurious furnishings and elaborate woodwork, tapestries etc. if this place isn't on your bucket list it should be. And we got to see it in the snow in late April

This castle is a great sight. It's worth going for the long tour of the interiors, since there are more rooms to see. The outdoors area is also very nice especially on a sunny day!
