A very old monastery with a lot of connection with the Romanian history. The tomb of one of the most important Romanian politicians is here. There is an old church and the new one better known from post cards. It is a very peaceful place...More
This is a beautiful place to visit for relaxation. Definitely recommend a visit at the old church and new church, very good for the soul.
You can also find a bit of history here, as a prime ministers tomb is hidden in the old chuch.

This is a beautiful place, you can visit the monastery or just the church (which is free) plus there is a souvenir shop which has the most amazing prices.
I recommend you to visit this religious place when in Sinaia.
This was a very worthwhile stop on our way to Brassov from Bucharest. The highlight for me was the Biserica Veche" (The Old Church), dating from 1695. It is known for its wonderful wall paintings that were just finished restoring in 2016.
