A 15th century church in pretty good condition near the village of crookedwood outside mullingar. A bit difficult to find if you don't know about it but worth the effort. Personally of particular significance as my ancestors are buried in the adjoining cemetery. Such a pity the OPW don't clean it up and make more of this important historical sight.... More

A lovely little church, so peaceful and quaint located a down a minor road in Crookedwood. I read about in online, and on this website of course, and thought it would make for a nice stroll. It's hard to find, there are no signposts that I could see unlike previous reviewers here say. It's about 3 or 4 minutes by... More

A lovely find in a beautiful area for exploring by car, bike or on foot. Quaint little church and cemetary. again, pity one can't go in for a look. Great views from here.

St. Munna's Church was an incredible find. Not too far off the beaten path we were able to visit this church and its settings, including the local Cemetery. Once we arrived there was little or no actual beaten path through the yard. It was a pleasant find because it is virtually untouched by many tourist and visitors. To be able... More

This church is steeped in history. Love the big old door. The interior is closed to the public. Would be lovely to see the interior. The scenery around it is fantastic.
