Belvedere is fantastic! It's quiet and peaceful, and incredibly scenic. There is no better way to spend a few hours than walking along the lake shore, strolling through the woods, and looking at some of the weird and wonderful creations. The walled garden and fairy gardens are as tranquil as you can get, with the house and other buildings bring... More

Beautiful walks with splendid views of the lake. Playgrounds for children. Nice family friendly comfortable cafe serves tasty lunches and snacks. Admission fee €8 per adult a little bit expensive for off peak season. I would imagine it would be better to visit later in the season when gardens are in bloom.

A fantastic day out. Beautiful grounds in a serene lakeside setting. Woodland walkways interspersed with picnic areas and childrens' play areas. A tour of the house itself is optional. There is even a doggie creche. There is also a visitor's centre, shop and fabulous restaurant (which can be busy in summer especially when the weather is nice) and large groups... More

Belvedere house and gardens are a lovely day out for all, from informative displays and signs to a beautiful courtyard and mouth watering food. A lovely walled garden with secluded benches for a quiet seating area, please note the walled garden is on a slight slope with a few steps but a path circumventing the garden is wheelchair accessible. There... More

This is by far my favourite spot to visit in Mullingar. Beautiful landscape! I have been visiting Belvedere since I was a child. Such an exciting place for children and even adults! They have lovely events on throughout the year. Can't wait to bring my dog for a big long walk next week! Only downside is that the price to... More

I found the service mediocre. The food was not really to my liking with far too much on the plate. Salad consists of just rocket (which not everyone likes). Breakfast is good though.

This venue is a beautiful place by the shores of lough ennel in Mullingar. There is a playground and coffee shop on site if you need to relax. Really worthwhile calling if in Mullingar.

Visited this place on Sunday. The weather was pleasant, which added to our enjoyment. There are some lovely, easy walks through the gardens. The house itself, though small, is impressive, as is the Jealous Wall and the history behind it. There are 3 play areas and a very warm and inviting cafe/restaurant - so something for all the family!!
